Purchasing and Subscription Options
All transactions conducted through our website or via phone are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
If you entered into a rental agreement for hearing aids prior to January 2025, you are explicitly prohibited from selling, transferring, or otherwise disposing of the rented hearing aids to any other individual or entity.
We currently offer the following purchase options:

Active subscriptions are required for continued access to services. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance, commencing on the date of purchase. Failure to remit payment within fourteen (14) days of the due date may result in the suspension of your account. In such instances, the functionality of the hearing aids may be disabled, and you will be obligated to return the devices immediately.
Failure to make timely payments may initiate debt recovery processes, including, without limitation, legal proceedings and referral to a collection agency, in accordance with applicable law. You will be required to return all provided devices and accessories as outlined in our Returns Policy. Non-compliance with payment obligations may result in the continued accrual of subscription fees. Should legal action become necessary to recover outstanding balances, you agree to be responsible for all such balances as well as any associated legal and collection costs.
If you choose to cancel your subscription within the initial forty-five (45) day trial period, the refundability of your initial payment and first month’s fees will be subject to the specific return policy applicable at the time of purchase. You remain responsible for all charges incurred up to the date of cancellation.
To terminate your subscription, you must provide us with notification prior to your next scheduled payment date and return all devices and accessories in strict accordance with our Returns Policy. An early termination fee $399. By subscribing, you authorized us to charge your designated payment method for all applicable subscription fees.
Subscription payments may be collected directly by us or through an authorized third-party payment processor (referred to as the “Payment Partner”), or debited from your designated FSA/HSA account or preferred debit card. The processing of payments is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies. We assume no liability for any issues arising from the services provided by these third-party entities.
Your subscription entailed an initial fee followed by recurring monthly payments for a period of one to twenty-four (1-24) months, unless the subscription was terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. Upon completion of this initial term, you had the option to return the rented hearing aids or to explore upgrading to a newer model with enhanced features if available or option to buy.
Payment Security and Card Handling
We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the security of your payment information. All transactions are processed through our trusted third-party payment gateway provider, Stripe Inc, PayJunction and Klarna. (the “Payment Portal Provider”), which employs robust security measures, including full PCI compliance and secure handling of card data utilizing at least 128-bit SSL encryption. Your complete card details are never directly accessed or stored by us and are securely managed by the Payment Portal Provider solely for the purpose of processing your payments.
In addition to the Payment Portal Provider, we utilize the following service providers to enhance the security and functionality of our Services:

We expressly reserve the right to cancel any promotions, deactivate coupon codes, suspend user accounts, or require alternative payment methods if we suspect any fraudulent or abusive use of coupons. Automated or bulk use of coupon codes is strictly prohibited.
Hearing Aid Device Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty
All our hearing aid devices are accompanied by a limited warranty against defects in design, materials, and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the original date of purchase. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear and damage to consumable accessories such as slim tubes, domes, and receiver-in-canal (RIC) wires.
Proof of purchase may be required when making a warranty claim.
If your device is determined by us to be faulty due to a covered defect, we will, at our sole discretion, either repair the defective device or replace it with a new or refurbished unit of comparable functionality. This warranty provides your exclusive remedy, and we disclaim any other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Warranty claims will be considered void if:
- The device has been tampered with, modified without authorization, or physically damaged due to misuse or accidents.
- The original serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed.
- Repairs have been performed by any party not expressly authorized by us.
- The device has been damaged due to neglect, theft, or loss.
Repairs and Replacements – Hearing Aids & Accessories
To initiate a repair or replacement within the warranty period, contact our customer support team for return instructions. A replacement device will not be dispatched until the returned device has been inspected. Eligible repairs or replacements (which may include refurbished units) are typically completed within two (2) weeks of receiving the returned device.
If no manufacturing defect is found, or if damage is user-related, you will be responsible for all applicable costs.
Repair Fee (when applicable):
A flat fee of $65 covers evaluation, cleaning, repair, and return shipping. We will always obtain your approval before proceeding with any repair or replacement that incurs cost. We may hold your device until full payment is received.
If you’re within the first forty-five (45) days and require a replacement RIC wire, one complimentary pair (size 1 or 3) will be provided. Contact our Hearing Hub® for assistance.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
We may offer out-of-warranty repair services for up to five (5) years from the original purchase date. All service and shipping costs are your responsibility. If the cost of repair is expected to exceed $50, we will contact you for approval before commencing repairs.
We may provide a refurbished replacement if your device cannot be repaired.
All out-of-warranty repairs are provided “as-is” without any additional warranty unless explicitly stated.
Returns and Refunds
Retail & Partner Purchases:
Devices purchased through retail stores or authorized partners are subject to the return policies of the original seller. Please consult them directly.
Direct Website Purchases:

A full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping, discounts, and coupons) will be issued if all original items are returned, including the hearing aids, carrying cases, charging cables, power adapters, and any promotional free gifts.
Returns are subject to the following conditions:
- Only one return per device model per customer is allowed within the trial period.
- Refunds are not issued for repeat returns or suspected abuse of the trial policy.
- Return shipping is your responsibility; we do not provide prepaid labels.
Important: This policy is subject to consumer protection laws which may vary by location.

Shipping Policy
We offer the following shipping options for domestic orders within the United States. All delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary based on carrier operations, destination, and other factors beyond our control.
Standard USPS Shipping
- Estimated Delivery: 4 to 6 business days from the date of shipment
- Insurance: Not included
- Liability: Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon shipment. We are not liable for missing, stolen, or undelivered packages shipped via this method.
- Support: We will assist you in filing a claim with the United States Postal Service (USPS) if needed.
- PO Boxes: Deliveries can be made to valid Post Office (PO) Boxes.

- Estimated Delivery: 2 to 3 business days from the date of shipment

Full utilization of the Signia App is contingent upon your use of a supported mobile device and consistent access to the Internet. The maintenance and security of this equipment may directly influence the performance of the App. It is your sole responsibility to ensure the ongoing functionality of your supported mobile device. You are solely responsible for all costs associated with your Internet access. Please consult with your Internet service provider for detailed information regarding potential data usage charges.
When using the Signia App, you may have the ability to upload, store, or share data and other information with Signia Hearing through the Signia App. By making such data available on the App, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, publicly display, share with third parties in anonymized and aggregated form, publicly perform, reproduce, translate, create derivative works from, and distribute this data, in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter devised.
The rights granted under this section are strictly limited to the purpose of offering and improving the Signia App, and/or associated software, as well as for related research purposes.
The Signia App, and all associated software are intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
By purchasing hearing aid(s), downloading and utilizing the Signia App, creating a user account within the App, we grant to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable permission to access and use the App and the software embedded within the hearing aid devices, including any third-party software components, and to access, and view content as expressly authorized within these Terms. This permission is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use of the Signia App and associated software, strictly as permitted under these Terms.
You are expressly prohibited from using, permitting others to use, copying, adapting, modifying, translating, disclosing, preparing derivative works based upon, permitting others to sell, rent, lease, assign, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, broadcast, or otherwise exploiting the Signia App, and/or associated software or any portion thereof (including any third-party software), except as explicitly permitted within these Terms.
No licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise under any intellectual property rights owned or controlled by us or our licensors, except for the specific permission. Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, you are strictly prohibited from performing, attempting to perform, or encouraging or assisting others in performing any of the following actions while accessing, the Signia App, or associated software:
- Using, displaying, mirroring, or framing the Signia App, or associated software, or any individual element therein, including the layout and design of any page, without our express prior written consent.
- Using our company name, trademarks, logos, or any other of our proprietary information without our prior express written consent.
- Attempting to access or tamper with our computer systems or the technical delivery systems of our service providers.
- Testing the vulnerability of our systems or breaching any security or authentication measures implemented by us.
- Circumventing any technological measure implemented by us or any of our providers or any other third party (including another user) to protect our software or programs.
- Accessing the Signia App, or associated software through the use of any mechanism other than through a lawful and authorized connection.
- Modifying, decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, tampering with, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of any software that we may provide to you or any other part of the Signia App.
Rewards Benefit and Discounts
We explicitly reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to terminate, cancel, amend, adjust, or otherwise vary the benefit offered through the Rewards Program and the allocation of points. Any discount coupons earned through participation in the Rewards Program will be applicable solely to the purchase of accessories and will not apply to the purchase of hearing aid devices themselves.
Your continued participation in the Rewards Program and any points you accumulate through it may be terminated by us if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in any dishonest or fraudulent activity in your interactions with us or the program.
We further reserve the right to temporarily revoke any Rewards points you have earned if we discover that your Subscription account (if applicable) is not in good standing due to outstanding and unpaid fees. The revocation will remain in effect until all outstanding fees have been paid in full.
The Rewards points earned through the program are specifically applicable to and directly associated with the unique serial number of your hearing aid(s) and are earned upon your successful completion of the specified goals within the program.
Our hearing aid devices, the associated Services, and the Rewards Program are exclusively available to users located within the contiguous United States. Should you choose to use the hearing aid devices in any territory outside of the contiguous United States, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local regulatory requirements.
The number of Rewards points allocated to specific goals, where applicable, may vary depending on whether you have purchased one or two individual hearing aid devices. The Rewards Program system will primarily track the usage of the hearing aid device that is worn most frequently.
The Rewards accumulated through the program have no intrinsic cash value and may only be redeemed for items that we expressly make available as rewards within the program. Users are strictly prohibited from transferring any rights to rewards or benefit to another individual or from using these rights as collateral for any financial obligations.
Any refunds issued for hearing aid purchases, or any accumulation of rewards points earned through the Rewards Program, will be calculated based on the actual net purchase price of the hearing aids after all applicable coupons or discount vouchers have been applied and explicitly excluding any shipping fees paid.
If you choose to return your hearing aid devices for a refund during the designated trial period, any points that you have previously earned through the Rewards Program will be immediately rendered void and will have no redeemable value.
In the event that your hearing aid device is returned to us for repair within your initial forty-five (45) day trial period, both the trial period itself and your participation in the Rewards Program will be temporarily paused until the repaired devices are returned to your possession. If this pause occurs during the middle of a given week within the Rewards Program cycle, any activities and goals that you successfully completed during that partial week will still be accounted for. However, the weekly Wearing Goals (where applicable) will reset once your repaired devices are returned to you. Your billing date for any subscription services will be adjusted to reflect the number of days the repair process took, and no billing charges will be processed until both the forty-five (45) day trial period and your participation in the Rewards Program resume.
Prior to being eligible to opt into the Rewards Program, you will be required to verify your identity and the purchase of your hearing aid(s) through the App. You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal information maintained by us. It is your ongoing responsibility to ensure that your personal details are accurate and kept up-to-date, as we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise due to errors resulting from incorrect or outdated information provided by you. Should you require assistance in changing or rectifying any of your personal information, you may contact our customer support center or, where available, update limited information directly within the App.
If you submit a request for the deletion of your user account or your personal data, either by directly contacting us or through the designated functionality within the App, your access to all Services, including the Rewards Program, will be immediately terminated, and any accumulated points or value associated with the Rewards Program will become void and will no longer be redeemable for any form of value.
Please be explicitly aware that deleting your user account or your personal data will not automatically cancel any active Subscription services you may have (if applicable). Only the individual for whom the hearing aid(s) were originally purchased with the direct intention of physically wearing the device(s) is authorized to participate in the Rewards Program. You are strictly prohibited from exchanging or lending your hearing aid device to another person for the purpose of achieving goals or earning points within the Rewards Program.
You bear the full responsibility for the safekeeping and proper use of your hearing aid devices. You agree to notify us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your App account has been compromised, or if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your user profile. Failure to provide us with timely notification of such issues will result in your acceptance of responsibility for any losses incurred as a direct result of the unauthorized use by any third party.
Confidentiality of Your Information
We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal details. Our approach to handling your information is detailed in our Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review.
To provide you with effective support, Customer Support will access your information to assist with your inquiries and to relay any feedback you might have regarding your hearing device(s), the Signia App, or the Rewards Program.
To enhance our services, conduct research, analyze usage patterns, and effectively manage the App and other Hearing Benefit Services platforms, we may collect data about your interactions with these tools, including the Chat function and your participation in Rewards. Where appropriate, this data may be anonymized for product development and research purposes.
Feedback or information you share through surveys, reviews, in-app activities, or Rewards Program participation may be used in our marketing materials.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from providing any personal information and discontinue use of the Signia App, Chat function, and participation in the Rewards Program.
We do not intentionally gather personal information from individuals under the age of 18. Parents or legal guardians cannot consent to these Terms on behalf of their minor children. Should we discover that information has been collected in violation of this policy, we will promptly remove and delete the data and any associated account from our systems and Services.

29.1. General Information
Hearing Benefit Services utilizes high-availability SMS communications to connect with our customers. SMS messages originating from HBS dedicated short codes are dispatched by our team to provide notifications and exclusive promotional alerts to our consumer base.
29.2. Consent to Receive Messages (Opt-In/Opt-Out)
The frequency of messages may vary. To unsubscribe, text “STOP” to any messages sent via SMS.
You have the option to discontinue this service at any time. Simply send a text message with the word “STOP” to reply to the SMS. Upon receiving your “STOP” request, we will send a confirmation message to your mobile device, indicating that you have been successfully unsubscribed.
